About

About question mark

The Family and Children’s Theatre blog is here to provide information and reviews on theatre for young people written by people knowledgeable about the genre. Where the major reviewing bodies only spend a limited time reviewing shows principally aimed at younger audiences the Family and Children’s Theatre blog hopes to provide an accessable resource on what good shows there are to take young people to. In line with the Action for Children’s Arts manifesto we hope to, “increase the amount of critical attention given to children’s arts in the national press.” Please visit the Action for Children’s Arts website for more information, www.childrensarts.org.uk

If you are a parent, guardian, teacher, group organiser or a child yourself please get in touch with us to suggest performances to review, with comments on shows you have seen yourself or to let us know how we can improve. In the future we hope to expand the website to allow children to write their own reviews on shows they have seen, for now people can use the comment facility to add their own views on shows we have reviewed.
